So we got this rod of hard rubbish couldn’t believe our luck ! We don’t have any good fishing rods and its an ugly stick !! Remember this trout slayer from years ago but this one is half the size ! anyway young fellas first Rod and only mildly interested in Fishing because he’s done a lot of fishing but not much catching my fault so fish so we are down at the lagoon he’s got this Rod loaded with 8 pound line and a scrub worm, Nekminute The roads over on the ground and he’s after it before it gets to the water ! Picks it up and starts to wrestle with this bloody sea monster with the tip of the ROD nearly touching his reel he says yeah no I got this and absolutely owned that Carp! Took him five minutes to land with 8 pound braid and made Araxi work! the look on his face when this came to the surface and roll I will never forget Kids addicted now and now locks me in for a flick nearly every day! , not bad for his first fish over 2lbs!

Good old faithful gold wobbler 10 in under an hour put the rest back

smashed it long skinny hard lure they didn't touch anything else hits on every cast this was on the Patterson River just under the bridge, landed some pinkies and some big flatties the next day out in the boat action never stopped got a feed threw the rest back
