Lakes a bit shallow but got a couple hits, caught a rainbow that looked like it was being chased by a catfish, I waited for the catfish to eat it maybe and the trout shook off the lure. Second hit was this crappie. Look him home and had him over rice 🍚🙌

Didn’t intend on schlepping fish everywhere but I couldn’t resist at least taking this guy! Big fish for dinner!

Shout out to Nathanael Vargas for telling me to make my own boilies. I whipped up some last night and this was the first boilies I soaked. I had just had a tooth pulled and was treating myself to 45 minutes of fishing before heading home. Released back to the lake.

Saw this dude hanging out under this tied log 🤷‍♂️ Switched off the corn and threw a night crawler on with a bigger hook and whaaaam! Maybe my personal best for a largemouth. He had some heft compared to the other larger ones I’ve caught. Who got tips for catching them big big bass?
