A few flounder my Grandson caught recently, 2 18 inches, a 19 and a 20 incher in gulp jigs.

So I’ve posted pictures of my 13 yr old grandson Jonsie ( AKA redfish assassin, sand flea Ninja and flounder pounder) with his redfish and flounder. And he is quite a fisherman but he was unable to come to Mexico Beach this week but his sister, my 9 yr old granddaughter did come and turns out she is also a redfish slayer. Naturally I had to come up with a nickname for her. After carefully considering several options I settled on Kami Grace.....The Redfish Whisperer”. I like it. It sings. LOL. I’m certain that, as with Jonsie, we will be expanding in her list of nicknames as her fishing career continues.

My Grandson cooks as well as he catches fish LOL. That’s blackened redfish throats in the foreground. If y’all don’t keep the throats from your redfish you are missing a great cut of meat.
