End of morning run. I was on water from 0530h to 1500h on this day. I was just about to head in to load kayak and go home. When I threw one more cast out into the open water. Really not expecting to get a hit... and she slammed my bait. nice fight to the rig. Put me in 1st for tournament. I love being out there on that water. I get to talk to my God, and catch beauts. Caught 4 that day. A 16" two 15"ers and this 23" Toad. God was shining in me. Matthew 4:19 says it best though "Walking along the beach of Lake Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers: Simon (later called Peter) and Andrew. They were fishing, throwing their nets into the lake. It was their regular work. Jesus said to them, “Come with me. I’ll make a new kind of fisherman out of you. I’ll show you how to catch men and women instead of perch and bass.” They didn’t ask questions, but simply dropped their nets and followed. Matthew 4:18‭-‬20 MSG

caught a group of smaller bass throughout the day. My best two catches were 2 plus lbs but I lost a tank at the net.

The Largemouth bass was caught with a different worm.

This fish was caught at Zwerner lake in Dahlonaga Ga. I moved to Talking Rock Ga recently, I'm a Chaplain for an Outreach ministry and a Survival skills guide. would anyone have ideas of a good spot to take a buncho Veterans in PTSD recovery ??
