First catch of the year 👍🏽. The red crank-bait was key for the 2 i caught after 3 hrs of fishing.

Early spring Big ole Bass.

The day remained slow, but we got another new species! First white bass, and first fish on a curly tail grubs 🎣💪 This dam is absolutely overrun with Asian carp; if anybody bow fishes that sees this... I don't think you could possibly miss, so the gettin' is good. 👀👀 And if you don't bow fish, go try to catch some wipers/white bass on a lipless crankbait or something, and dispose of the hundred or so Asian carp (silver, bighead, grass, and black carp) you accidentally snag in the process. The river will thank you, and I hear they make pretty damn good catfish bait 🙏💜
