This bluegill kinda put up a fight

This guy deserved his own post! Not my biggest but he was my first jumper! My led bobber went under, I grabbed, reeled and set the hook good! As soon as I got him close to the surface he came flipping out of the water. Picked up my slack and reeled down again . But this time he was running under the dock. I tightened down my drag and got him turned from the dock, then he comes Flipp ng out of the water again!it was so exciting! Definitely thought I was gonna lose him with the hook size I was using. But it stayed pined the whole time! Tight lines y'all!

When I got to the lake last night. My body said go home it's to cold too fish. Happy I pushed thru!

Farm to table! She was good eating. A fun catch too! On my shamino ultra light combo and mepps plain aglia! She was jumping and running under the dock. Local Fred netted her for me when I pulled her from under it again.
