One of my biggest smallies in years! Crushed the Berkley Bonefish and we fought it out. Glad I brought the heavier rod & reel.

Right off the public launch at Leavenworth. 1.75 lbs. White paddle tail.

Talk about mixed bag! All the bass in the Blue River today, but nothing big. Water is still a bit low and I think the big bass have gone down to the Ohio River. Used a micro square bill white shad crankbait.

Natural colored swimbait, craw, and Gulp Minnow did well today. New spot has great potential. Big mystery fish snapped line.

Hellgrammite, Krackin Kraw, and Trench Hog all working well on the Blue River this afternoon. Mike caught the biggest smallie of the year on the same Hellgrammite.

Gulp Minnow, and swimbaits did the trick on the Blue River this afternoon. The catfish on the Gulp in the current was a surprise at the end. Couldn't ask for better weather.
