Took a lil hike threw mad brush just to find this lil honey hole it was so worth it cast after cast it was small mouth heaven biggest small mouth ever caught today 2 to be exact one 14 inches 2.2 lbs The second 15 1/2 inches 2.4lbs other then that a bunch of decent size had a amazing time love fishing I swear 🎣🚣❤️💯 #mainefishing #smallmouthPB #smallmouthbass #maine #bass #bassfishing

Caught my first ever Pickerel! Fought like like hell and by far heaviest fish I've caught. No scale unfortunately. Also caught some smallmouth using a Whopper Plopper (another first using that lure) overall was a good time. Last picture shows the setup I used to catch the Pickerel. Googan saucy swimmer with large wide-gap hook (removed the barb) and released him back to the water.

Spent 30 mins on the Penobscot and got to meet these two guys. Decent smallies for relatively calm waters, really liking the new fluorocarbon line I spolled my baitcaster with recently.

Caught 4 medium sized Bass (one was not photo worthy -- too small) all safely released to live another day. What better way to kill time on a Monday. *The actual lure used was a Keitech swimbait

Pulled this guy out before sundown, New Abu Vengance Baitcaster rod working well. Penobscot river always delivers.
