They were chomping on the jerkbait. Wouldnt touch bottom presentations for some reason. Bonus brookie was a nice surprise.

Catches from kayak trip on Sat and wachusett from shore on Sunday.

Catches frorm last couple outings. Bass bite is slowing down for me. Just a couple but plenty of perch and pickerel action.

Great day on the water with my brother Tom. We fished a herring pond and were hoping to encounter bass chasing baby herring in open water but instead they were tight to structure. Atleast they were still hungry. We tallied 32 bass and 4 pickerel. Swimjig and spinnerbaits swam by or into visible structure accounted for most of the catches.

Finally the wind let up. Has been a minute since ive been on the kayak.
