Small mouth on the river raisin..

Great day. Did a float after I was about to give up due to the water being too shallow where I put in. Met this father and son going out as I was returning to the river access point. They lived on the river and invited me to float with them to his house. Caught this personal best with him. This was only my 2nd smallie. My first was a few minutes earlier. It was about 1lb. Also caught a 25 inch pike just before both of these but he got off right at the yak. Really nice family I got to know and thanks for taking me along. I went back the next day to pick up my boat. He kept it ready for me. Really cool. Thanks Jerry.
