Northern Hoosier Outdoors At Knife Lake
Enjoying the last days of ice fishing in central Minnesota, catching perch and white crappies on tip ups and jigging a tungsten wonderbread colored jig with a minnow head. Fishing 7-9 feet of water. It was a beautiful, sunny weekend, no wind and just a day after a full moon, the fish were VERY active and hungry! Aggressive strikes! Right at dusk, the bite was intense! Ice was still 2 feet thick, but landings all around on local lakes are sloppy, ALWAYS check the ice before you drive out! Be safe and tight lines!!!
