sun beat down on me today, less wind. Tried a number of lures, but a black grub/squid on a 1/8 oz jig pulled in the most fish.

maybe not ice fishing but the wind sure felt like it. I fished the whole lake, but caught everything in 20x20ft shaded spot. Still no bass yet this year

windy but found that deep divers do ok in fairly smooth coves. wooly buggin all day

Lost four flies today, but the air was warm, wind was calm, and fish were practically jumping in my boat. over 30 massive bluegills, a huge crappie and a nice bass.

same as yesterday, when there is no wind, the fish bite. wind starts blowing, fish turn off
