Question! I am trying my hand at trout fishing in a local stocked lake. I picked up an appropriate rod/reel, line, and some trout lures/powerbait. I am wondering how late in the year do trout bite? I know that they prefer colder water, but is it worth it this late in the year? Any tips for fishing trout in a lake?? (UPDATE) Thanks again for the tips, I finally caught one. I will keep trying out new rigs from your suggestions! I had a float out on one rod, but landed this one with a panther martin spinner.
