There have been a lot of smaller fish as of late for me, but this one completely caught me off guard. My new PB for trout and it fought me all the way to the bank

This lake hard to catch a fish just like your average baddie you just need the right bait aka chatter bait

Went to Hugh Force Canal Park today. I found a melanistic, or all black largemouth bass. I tried to catch it but had no luck. Went there to catch bass and pickerel, but they just weren't biting. Luckily, I packed the fly rod and caught different species of sunfish and a little fallfish from the canal and river.
