Fished a nearly flooded river today for some gorgeous wild brown trout. Ended up landing two, a 16 incher and an 18 incher. Had a ton of big fish action today with multiple lost fish over 17 inches. The high flow rates made wading quite difficult and I took a nice spill and floated down the river a bit. Thank goodness the sun was shining, because it made the cold water down my waders much more bearable.

More little ones, I need to catch some big ones soon...

When I got there I could see fish jumping, thought it was crappies, so I started tossing a pink Rooster Tail. Guess those were trout lol

Another successful day of fishing with three trout in total, two browns and a rainbow. Today’s biggest was a beautiful brown that came in at around 18 inches.

Yesterday’s outing resulted in 14 fish, 11 browns, 2 rainbows, and a surprise sucker. The biggest fish of the day was a brown that came in at around 17.5 inches.

2 for 1 and i guess we hit a sand bar trolling at some point. haha
