Caught three little perch today

4 trips skunked… Fish finder b here Monday thooo

Cast you rod with a Carolina Rig using live bait,let the rig sink, then reel a few inches then release the line and repeat...just like a real worm crawling on the bottom of the lake bed.

I caught this perch at the north end of Schroon Lake NY. Not the best weather. 🌧️ But I'm dedicated 🐟

First time jigging schroon in may. one fish each, both keepers. not bad.

3rd time jigging schroon in may. killed it. 10 fish before 730. at 730 we had our limits and left since these fish were already slowing down. jigging these lakers is super fun on 6 lb fluoro. the one big guy was 24 inches and 5 lbs. he is pictured 2x, once in my kitchen. I'm hoping to open for charter next year, offering this during may. state license acquired, working on the public vessel operator and inspection now!

second time jigging schroon in may. all by my lonesome this time. 6 fish, 4 were keep size but you can only keep two. so I kept number 2 and number 6. these fish stop biting at like 830 am here. gotta get there earlier...
