Last night was quite…. Annoying to say the least. Had everything all planned out, leave it to the rowers to throw my plans all to hell. Apparently they started a new class 2 days a week that is later than the rest. 🤦‍♂️ So while they did their thing I started spodding and getting spots baited. I baited up two areas, ended up fishing the second. Got the rods out finally at 8pm… Left rod was placed tight to the opposite bank under a tree and the right rod was at a snag I know extremely well. The first fish I had was a very scrappy teen on the right hand rod, got the rod back out, a few minutes later it melted off with this one of a kind brute!! Just because the cards don’t fall into place at first, don’t give up. Push through it. You might just be rewarded with something special. Tight lines. 🍻🎣
