Caught 2 dinks and was leaving when I saw something big swirl under some muck collecting on the bank under a bunch of over hanging trees/brush. Couldn’t help myself and knew I was going to take a chewing from the wife but it ended up being worth it. Big girl was on bed and I got her. 6th sense OX flipping hook did not disappoint. Didn’t think I had a chance at landing her where I was at but did and man was it awesome! Starting a you tube channel soon stay tuned.

They were turnt up last Saturday! Action packed 2hrs of fishing. Had a heartbreaker get off right at the bank…..bigs was jumping trying to shake me and was successful after I slipped going to get her and had just the slightest bit of slack and my lure came up floating…crushing!!! Was all of 5-7lbs to be modest, had to run down the bank to keep up with her and not break me off. Smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

Went fly fishing today got a couple bits! Fist time this season but had a lot of fun!😃

Went to Lake James and got a couple of firsts- all small, but I can check them off my species list anyway. First flathead, first Red breasted sunfish and first Green Sunfish.
