PB ALERT! 11 lb 5 oz NC largemouth bass - caught in a Texas rigged Magnum Speed Worm on a wind blown sunny bank in 8 feet of water around heavy wood cover where I could see shiners feeding on the surface. One of the craziest fights of my life and tying my current PB of 11 lb 5 oz! This fish would easily be a teener in the pre-spawn - my wife and son were so proud and so happy to be there to help me catch weigh and release her and it's a memory I'll cherish forever! She was 25" long - the longest bass I've ever landed and she was 7" wide. She was an absolute submarine and I had to pull her out of a tree and my 20 lb Berkeley Big Game did it's job. Beyond blessed to have caught this beautiful fish! We managed some more nice ones on wacky rigs and frogs - but nothing compared to the big girl. This is why I bass fish every single day! Tight lines and keep bassin'!

Swim jig bite went insane on Saturday and I managed 7 swim jig fish while Jake continued to wreck the pan fish and dinks on top water. No giants but one nice fat fish to end the day on!

Another pretty evening at the pond fishing wacky rigs and topwater for some healthy fun lil guys!

Got on a few nice pretty fish to start the week out with Jake. Jake's been absolutely wrecking the smaller bass and dinks on bud micro popper!

Hit the lake on Easter after we got home and I caught a spawned out MONSTER bass - 9 lb 3 oz on the jig with a speed craw trailer. Also nailed a 6 on this same rig and we caught a nice limit of chunky bass. Over 20 lb for the day. Biggest fish of the month for me and probably the longest bass I've ever caught!
