first time fly fishing

Monster trout, brook,brown, and rainbows!

well i wasn't really planning on wetting a line today cause i had my dog with me!But we were at the trout stream that i love to fish. I was just sitting there by the river listening to the water relaxing,and for about 25,30 minutes something was breaking the water!So i brought my uatra light rig but didn't think it was gonna be a good day to fish because its been raining for about 24 hours.And the water was really wild!So i said to myself don't let this get away,Davo.I had a mepp's with a silver blade,so usually big trout when they feed on top of the water usually go back to there sanctuary. So i figured cast it about a foot to a foot and a half in front of where that fish is feeding. I casted across the front of the area and let the current take it,and Boom it was on!
