Nice little Sunfish on a quick little trip today, would anyone be willing to share some tips for catching bass from the banks?

Been watching nothing but Bass fishing videos on YouTube for the last month, swore I was gonna try to catch my first one today and caught this little fellow while trying to get some bluegills 😂
