Mother's Day 2023 - found some white bass. The bigger one was 13.5 inches. So close to a Fish Ohio, which is 14in. I had a 3rd but it was shy and bailed before I could measure and take his pic. I'm chasing after that masters pin!

I had an amazing day today. Decided to go on a solo float up the Vermillion River since it was so nice on Thursday. I said...self... Why not. The weather is turning to crap tomorrow afternoon. Get out there! I hit the water at about 4p and paddled 6mi. I saw 3 eagles, various ducks, Herons and caught 2 Smallmouth bass and, even better, I caught 2 Steelhead!! Looks like fresh salmon (well...steelhead) patties on the menu! Although I missed my bestie, I had a blast on this peaceful solo trip! 🎣💕
