Fought a cockle clam for 5-10min. He was a hard battle but I prevailed. I also accidently sliced off his buddy’s siphon (gaper clams) when using the clam gun. Added butter and lemon and it was soooooo good you wouldn’t believe #catchanddeceased

My first ever brown trout caught at Lemolo. Delicious meat. Doesn’t have that fishy-gamey aftertaste like a rainbow trout or salmon. Looked like chicken and tasted like chicken. That white meat there on the plate is surfperch.
