Rainbow on a prince nymph dropper rig.

First fish of the season. First fish on an emerger.

Caught two rainbows over 11” today. Got to try out my new net. #catch22

Dropped a nymph in the hole and he hit right away. Another one took the hook the same way but got off before i could net him. #Catch22

Finally caught one with a dry fly (elk hair caddis). Wrapped himself around my leg when trying to net him. A tangled mess but netted none the less. Almost foul hooked a 195lbs jackass too. (Always wear sunglasses)

Thought I’d try swinging a wooly bugger after last night’s storm.

chunky smally. not bad for a quick 20 minute session.
