A long, slow day on Elk Creek in Erie. My group of four guys caught seven steelhead in ten hours. I caught this male on a single egg float rig eight hours into the day. He was my only catch but he fought for 5+ minutes. Made it all worth it!

This last trip to Erie, it was only supposed to be cloudy and rain for a short bit throughout the day. I dressed for the cold, and possibly a little rainy, and had my lines rigged for average flow. Little did I know that it was going to rain the ENTIRE day & blow the creeks out by sun down 🙄🙄😂
