My first ever crank bait catches!!! The big one clocked in at .94lb! My PB! None of the hits were hard...was more like a sudden resistance against my reeling. Both crank baits are KVD square bill. Ended up losing both, and recovered them as they drifted with the current out of the spillway.

Went to Limestone Springs fishing preserve to get some fresh dinner! Sorry for the poor photo quality. Fish didn’t want it’s pic taken! First trout in over 25 years! Caught on a drifted helgrammite.

Variety of sun/pan fish and a few bass thrown in for good measure. Caught same place as yesterday. Painted jig with night crawlers. Water was higher too, fish didn’t mind tho.
