Went chasing after a 20+ inch brown I broke off on a week ago. Didn’t catch anything massive, but was able to catch a few good browns.

Today I fished a local pond for some Largemouth bass. My main goal was to catch a few fish on the frog and I succeeded! I managed to land two frog-eaters and one was a 3lb 4oz stud, the biggest fish of the day. I tossed around a senko for a while too and landed three tiny bass and a bluegill. After a while I switched back to the frog and had about five more hits but I was unable to hook into any. On one instance, I set the hook and broke off all the way up by my rod tip and lost about 30 yards of line that I had freshly spooled up just hours before. Thankfully the fish didn’t get the frog completely and it popped right back up where I had lost it. I quickly tied on another top-water and hooked the frog on the surface, which saved me a couple bucks. I finished the day by throwing a spinnerbait, which resulted in a small bass and about five bites.

Went out to my home creek for about 2 hours and landed 17 Brown Trout and 1 Rainbow. Every one of these fish was absolutely gorgeous, especially the tiny ones. Started off using the roadrunner with not too much luck, then switched to a Panther Martin which got the job done.

Was able to get out for about 30 minutes after finishing some homework today. Was able to catch a rainbow, a small brown, and a creek chub.

Haven’t had too much luck with the trout yet, but today I was able to get out and catch about 15. Mostly browns, all of them came on a micro spoon. Interesting colors on the first brown, darkest one I’ve seen.
