Stuck it out in the rain and it paid off with this keeper cobia

Man, the bite sure has been tough around Beaufort lately. I was on the water from noon til 4:30 and only managed to get a few bites around 3:30. I think between the full moon and the crazy cold temps we have been getting, the fish are just turned off. But I do have to say - I freaking love that boat. I was able to get into some crazy shallow spots today. And more than once I accidentally found myself in less than 12" of water at WOT on the flats and I still had room to spare without even making a mud trail. Skiff life is the way to go. Now I just gotta find a few more fish.
