#Catch23 These creek Smallies are SO FREAKIN STRONG💪 This Plopper has caught so many! (I've been using the same one since last year!) One of these Smallies finally broke a hook off it!

We went to the creek for play this time!!! I didn't care about catching 5, but I threw a Rooster Tail a few times! Got a #Catch23! Small but AMAZINGLY COLORED LONGEAR! (3 PICS OF THE SAME FISH) WE ATE SOME SNACKS AND CAUGHT SOME TINY MINNOWS WITH A NET. ALSO, WE FOUND SOME COOL ROCKS, A FOSSIL, A CRAWFISH, AND A HERON FEATHER! ALSO FOUND SOME BERRIES, TOO! IT WAS A LOT OF FUN AFTER MOWING THE GRASS THIS EVENING!

MADE A PITSTOP AT THE CREEK AFTER I FINALLY MADE IT OUT OF THAT NASHVILLE TRAFFIC. THE WATER WAS COOL AND REJUVENATING! FISHING IS THE CURE FOR WHAT AILS YA!!! TIGHTLINES, FISH ANGLER FAMILY!!

The big ones were being stubborn today. As I stood on the shore with the wind blowing right at my face, a skunk was slowly making his way down the bank towards my fishing hole! Downsized my offering, and these perty little fishes scared the skunk back off into the woods! Decided NOT to use any for bait and just enjoy catching em! Bonus catches when I stopped by a creek on the way home. Caught about 5 or 6 rock bass and 3 little smallmouth. 2 striped shiners.

Couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas Eve creek fishing trip! Didn’t think I was going to catch much. Ended up getting some really nice creek smallies!!

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning. Starting off slow at the creek, then the bite heated up!
