Fishing pressure on Lake Dunlap is extreme. Only boated 3 in 5 hours.

Learning to skip lures with a white shad paddletail around the water and got smoked on the fall. This is bigger than the last one I pulled out. Caught a few more bass and sunfish, but nothing came close to this bad boy. Once the bite fell off around 12 I couldn't muster up much else.

Missed my lures on the first pass, but I sighted the big boy at that moment. Cast from a different direction and passed back over the same spot and this fish smoked my lure. Fun fight in and amongst the trees in this section of the river. Tank of a fish, PB for me. Caught a handful of other fish and missed a handful of bites. Great day fishing today.

Learning Dunlap each time fishing. This morning with a south west wind went very well at first. Wind switched from the SW and at about 9:45 am out of the ENE and the fish switched off. Getting Dunlap figured out.
