Went gar fishing w Jimmy Mancini at the Buffalo Bayou this morning and we skunked so I took lil sis carp fishing tonight to restock on some gar candy 🎣

Went on a BASS A THON today! 9 total! Biggest was 3 pounds even and most of them were 2-2.5 lbs. All at at the good ol reliable drain on live gillys and shad! Got vids of most of the catches!

1 catfish on live shad and 1 lil bass on dead shad off the bottom targeting cats😂 he swallowed the hook so he made for a nice lil lunch 🍽️

A cat from today and one from Monday that I forgot to post 🐱

PB rod and reel blue cat!! I thought the 4 and a half pound bass was gonna be the highlight of the morning but wow! Was down to my last gilly and he had died after getting struck by something but decided to toss him back out on a bobber anyways. Next thing I know I’m having the craziest fight with this guy!! Had my go pro right next to me and it happened so fast I didn’t get a vid of the actual catch! Bummer! But I’m realizing most of my misses recently the camera is on, and most of the ones I actually catch it’s off 😂 maybe Brian H$K NC Nakai is right about the go pro jinx😂 WHAT A MORING!

Another 4 and a half pounder on the live gilly on a float! Coming in at 4 pounds 9 ounces! This guy did NOT swallow the hook and was released safely :) Great way to start the day! Happy Tuesday fish angler fam!

4 pounds 10 ounces! Fished all afternoon with lures and got desperate at the end and tossed out the good ol faithful live bluegill on a float. Ended up catching this HAWG🐷 wouldn’t usually keep one this big but It swallowed the hook deep and was 100% gonna die. Wish I could’ve released it but talk about DELICIOUS 🤤🤤🤤
