Second time back at Occoquan River this year! Had so much fun fishing the river yesterday! Caught a new PB for blue cats at 12 lbs 28 inches off the first cast and my brother caught his first Northern Snakehead at 6.36 lbs 26 inches right before heading back to the boat ramp! First day back and first time this year going fishing and finally caught the BIG 1!!!… Hit new personal best for blue cats on Saturday for 7.1ish pounds in the rain! OMG! 90 seconds of great action! All in less than 5 minutes from casting to netting! 💯 It was also fun catching the 2/3 pounder gassing myself up thinking it was at least a 5 pounder while reeling it in. 🤣 GOT EM!!! Will release a video of me catching the 7 pounder later! 😁
