They were feeding this morning! Three flatties, including an ambitious young fella who smashed a skip cast on the surface. Two bream and a baby trevally also went for the Slim Swimz in bloodworm. Slowly getting better at casting. Both bream were sight fished where they were feeding in the mangroves. Great session!

Man did I work hard to get this little fella today... Started on the rocks at Scott's Pt at dawn and didn't get a touch on the two lure presentations that worked well for bream last weekend. Moved up cabbage tree creek and still got nada on the grub and the craw. Changed to a paddle tail and immediately started getting bites every cast, then Mr Baby Flathead finally gave me some love. So I guess the positive is that I've worked out what baby Flathead like to eat in the creek. But heck it's frustrating taking 3hrs to learn that nugget! Anyone else relating today?
