Not a great day out. I only got one but lost a big one.

NEW PB PINKY 🚨🚨🚨 Sorry it says northern snapper, FishAngler don’t have the pink snapper fish I.D, I had a solid fight with the little lad getting snagged on everything on the seabed..

Caught a few mackeral and bream just dropping it in under the pier.

Sorry for bad quality photos. Caught a load today on the yak’s catching 3 wrasse, 4 flatties and 2 pinkies. Overall a good day and let’s keep catching em’!! P.s - FishAngler please restock your Sailfish long sleeve tops!!

First Fishing Trip on Boat!!! 🎉🎉👍👍. Huge thanks to Mornington boat hire for making this trip possible!! We went out around 10am and was getting signs of some late giant snapper!! My brother caught an absolute monster and a new PB! (He says he going to get angry if he doesn’t get staff pick 🤣🤣) After a while of catching Northern red’s and pinkies we started getting bites from some small little stuff like mackerel and flat-heads! However, everything was going well until something bad just had to happen 😒 My brother was busy reeling in a flathead when (on the smallest rod we have) tip shot down bending like a candy cane!) So as any fisherman would do, grabbed the rod and yelled “FISH ONN!!” The radar that the owner kindly gave to us for the trip went buzzing off and showed us that it was a massive gummy shark, 5 minutes of fighting and it had come up to the top, but, the line had gotten tangled around the tip of the rod and the line tension was low. The fish had come off…. Other than that story it was an amazing trip and would highly recommend for some good fishing!!
