Hooked with shadteaz 10cm, blue/silver colour, on jig head 18g 5/0 hook. I did short and slow drops. I let it drop to the bottom, then, I do 3-5 short, quick pulls with just a tip of rod, along with two-three slow spins of reel, to get like a “jumping and falling” action of lure, witch imitates, sick and weak small fish. Last fishing season I discovered, that this method, whit style of presenting your lure is so far most effective for zanders in Belgian Kanaals. Use small, slim, soft rubber lures. Up to 12cm long. Natural colours. Combination of blue, silver, black, green, sometimes with touch of red or orange, with addition of glitter. Use corded line, 0.10-0.13 mm. Short, stiff spinning rod, and strong reel size 3000 is most comfortable. Go catch yourself a one! See you at the water! Break your rods! Good luck!
