Chain Lake

Took the wifey out fishing before the year ended! 🕳️ 🎣 The goal for the day was for her to get a trout-trifecta (3 kinds in one day) 👀 We missed out on a big brown, it swam by, swiped at our lure but we didn't hook it 🥹 but, the wifey did get her PB Rainbow 🌈 (18-19") and her first Tiger 🐯. Overall, we landed about 7 fish! 🐟 They were quite spaced out throughout the day and we did lose a bunch at the hole as well 🫣 her reaction to her PB bow was great tho! She kept saying it was huge and she's never seen such a big trout before 🤣 (time to go for Lakers next!) Overall a good day! It was nice to get out with the wife 😁

This fish took me by surprise. My back turned to my rod helping out the father-in-law with his rod when he shouted and pointed at my rod doing a 90 degrees bend and a crying reel. Funny thing is the same thing happened when I first tried fishing for trout. Caught both fish on the 2 photos on the same exact spot. And the exact same thing happened. I stumbled and fall running trying to get to my rod to set the hook. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
