Evening troll with my neighbor after work. Caught 3 little bows. Had to keep 1 cause it gilled itself so bad.....blood everywhere, lol. Beautiful weather, though

Beautiful day today on the lake! It was a bit windy but still gorgeous. Managed to catch 1 little guy thats about it.

First fish of the new season! Decided to walk down to the lake and try it out. I need a new battery for my boat, so no trolling yet.

Well, i think that was my last outing for ice fishing this hard water season. Ice was really gross today. But on the bright side, I got to ice fish in April for the first time. All n all this hard water season was a blast. I didn't get out to other lakes as much as I wanted, but I still had fun. BRING ON THE SUN AND BOAT!

Hot few hours today. Was snowing all morning. Still lots of ice. Gotta love living on a mountain. Tomorrow, if I go out, it will be my first time ice fishing in April 😆

Got out in the later evening. My fiance caught her first fish from the hard water.

Quick hour session this morning. Caught some decent bows. Lost a bunch again, though. Maybe 1 more hard water session tomorrow. The ice is still good, and there are no more massive puddles everywhere.

Holy! That was a stressful morning start. Caught only 1 in the first hour, but I had lots of opportunities. Lost 5 or 6 fish in that time. Just couldn't set the hook properly. Then it died down completely for the next hour. But then it really picked up.and I started getting proper hits and bites. Even fed an Eagle couple that are locals here. All n all, it was a good day. Might be going out one more time tomorrow with a buddy.
