Credit River (Erin Branch)

No trout about it...im sick of bush wackin for these, I'm thinkin i'll go back to bass for a bit.

Caught my first Brook Trout today! And it was a pretty nice one! Glad I went out after work for a little bit

Well, a broken rod isn't going to put me down, put my euro nymphing reel and line onto my 5wt rod, it feels different but still produces. Heres 2 of 12 i got into today. This river is nice, but is very hard to get around, i'll have to add a machete to my fishing gear to whack through all the tree's and bushes. 🤣

I hiked for an hour and a half before i found a nice run to nymph in. First cast out i landed this fish, it was going to be a good morning, was being the key word, 2 casts later my fly gets caught on a small over hanging branch and when I went to jerk my rod tip up to get it out, the lower section of my rod snapped. Shitty morning, hopefully warranty will cover it, i just bought it a month ago.

Rough day on the river, fire ants everywhere, lost about 4 nymphs, tangled in braches, lost 2 trout over 14". Fishin the upper credit is hard with a 10ft rod, most over the river in the strech is was in is only 10ft wide. But still nice to get out and catch these beautiful fish.
