Not a big one but it’s fun to see them around.

Yesterday morning I ventured to the Meadowvale area to do some fishing and explore the beautiful Credit River. While my fishing luck was a bit disappointing the entire day—I only managed to catch a couple of tiny trout—I stumbled upon a hidden gem: an incredible picnic area! This spot is perfect for families looking to enjoy a leisurely day outdoors, surrounded by nature. I can already picture laughter, delicious food, and quality time spent together in this lovely setting. It may not have been the best fishing day, but it turned into a delightful discovery!

PART 1: New PB. Found this tiny little storm water pond that connects to the credit, absolutely loaded with bass. This guy went straight to an underwater log, and I thought I had lost him and my lure. Annoyed I took a dip to get my lure back, and realized I still had a fish. My thumb still hurts , this guy was so heavy. I might be motivated to buy a scale now.

In this trout outing, I brought two rods with me: one for casting an inline spinner and the other for throwing a dry fly. Surprisingly, the dry fly didn't attract many bites. Instead, all the catches were made using the size #4 Panther Martin Classic spinner with 3 yellow dots on a black body. Furthermore, for the first time ever, I managed to avoid losing any tackle throughout the entire fishing session! 💯

‘Lil Jack high jacked the roe… smh

Smashed the spinner. Great fun to land so much energy this little fish had. Released for next time.
