Crotch Lake

A feeding frenzy started up as the water calmed and flies were swarming on the water. Had 3 senkos ripped apart before this one got hooked. Good fight and ended up snapping the tip of my rod (jumped on the tip while laying on the rock). Got four in four days. I'll call that a successful first attempt.

Three days, three different fish. I was worried I would get a pike so brought some plyers. So lucky I did. I thought I hit a snag and walked over and gave a yank. It popped up to the surface and did a roll to let me know I was wrong. Then a boat swerved over and idled its way right through my casting area from the bank. :/

First Smally.

Decided to start fishing for the first time while back country camping. First fish I've caught. Hoping for a smally, had to settle for this guy.
