Went cottaging for the first time ever. Wanted to catch walleye or lake trout for the friendos and even bought a fishfinder. Saturday turned to crap with rain and wind, and only had a few hours on Sunday. Sunday brought amazing conditions. Calm waters and nearly no wind. Connected with this smallie with a whopper plopper and missed another one on the way back. No walleye or laker :(
