Meet Mr 💯. Small guy but this is my 100 fish caught since the beginning of labor day long weekend when I got the counter.

Biggest panfish yet! The bigger the worm, the bigger the fish! Put two worms on one hook if the worms are too small.

I caught my biggest fish so far on the last day of this summer! I was so disappointed at first because I couldn’t catch anything for 3 hours straight. Then this happened! Someone told me there are a lot of catfishes at Heart Lake. A smaller catfish one of my relatives caught went missing. They think this one ate it, so the weight might be a little off. We can only find out for sure tomorrow when we cut it open.

The biggest panfish yet! I used real worms for the first time. The good thing about worms is that the fishes do not easily let go. It is a pain in the neck to get the hook off the fish though.

Trying out the new bait I bought for the first time. Caught the biggest crappie yet. So close to 20cm.

First time fishing out of a kayak. I got pretty lucky I think

Caught 4 black crappies today from my kayak! There is a crappie overpopulation crisis going on near the lily pads. I talked to someone who said there used to be a lot of basses here, but they got overfished.

Didn’t get a good picture, fish were nibbling all morning but this guy really wanted it. third bass I ever caught!
