Finally I successfully caught a steelhead by soft bead after a few months try. Thanks Danny for the great advice! Alao, my wife passed the G2 test (the 5th try) what a coincidence. Lol

Catch and release, before rain and flood everything was good but after flood can’t find any fishes there, Of course, I see that most of the fishermen do not respect the ecosystem and catch and keep all the native fish, some of the fish revive the rivers and the beautiful nature, nature and all its creatures are the best heritage that we can give to the future generations.

I went creek steelhead fishing today and the score was 1/3. The first one was hooked on the 3rd float attempt, but unfortunately, the hook did not penetrate enough and popped out after just a few seconds. It wasn't big, estimated to be around a pound or two. The second hook-up was a big one. I followed it downstream and unexpectedly, it dove into a deep rapids with strong currents. Being upstream, I struggled to pull it out as the fish kept diving back into the rapids, regaining its strength each time. After a tug of war lasting more than 20 minutes, I managed to bring it close to shore. However, in a moment of excitement, as I tried to grab its tail barehanded, the fish slipped from my grasp and got darted away. This fish was around 6lb If I had to guess. Lesson learned - next time, I'll aim to beach the fish in shallow waters. Exhausted, I made my way back 100 yards upstream to rest at my base. After a brief break, I cast my line again and quickly caught my third strike of the day. This time, with the net by my side, I secured the fish quickly and took some victory pictures. Just as I was celebrating my success, an urgent call from my boss at work interrupted the fun, forcing me to end my fishing adventure abruptly. Although I didn't have to include the last part of the video where I released the fish poorly due to time constraints, I regret not giving it a proper send-off. Remember, if you choose not to keep a fish, release it responsibly to give it the best chance at survival.

An absolute unit. Hooked a couple of steelhead. So much more lively than the suckers. Second one just peeled line and I had no control. Broke off above the float somehow... I think that was the saddest I've ever been from fishing.
