I think I just got my timing back....... as they stop biting lol

I got distracted by a jumping pike that I hooked but couldn’t get to shore. This wasn’t a big fish but ok for the first of the new season

4th pike this Session. Only a half season this season

Question. Me and my brother in law both saw this. I’ve been seeing these fish but thought I was loosing my mind. These blue gill are jumping when we catch them, fighting like a bass and have teeth like a piranha. My question is if someone put piranha into this pond, would a hybrid blue gill/ piranha look like this?

Northern pike 2min away from my house

practicing my fly casting and setting/landing techniques, spent the early morning targeting bluegill on my small local pond and had a ton of success, good size as well, almost got a monster largemouth but he spat out my san Juan worm right as I was setting the hook. Most of the gillies swallowed the fly deep but I got a few pics of flies in mouth.
