Unnamed / Airport Rd Pond

Brought a friend to Glen haffy to try trout fishing for the first time. The water was a step away from turning neon green with algae lol. I got 1 right away when I was setting up the rod, and tossed the trout magnet in the water to straighten out the line. Mistakenly I thought this would be the way the rest of the day would go lol We had zero bites as we watched a newbie at fishing catch his limit very quickly, and eventually my friend hooked one, but she didn't set the hook so it came off at the shore. We went to the pine river fishing park afterward but didn't fish much due to the heat + mud. She caught 3 minnows though 😂
