Recent Catches At Unnamed / Lady Nadia Dr Pond

I am passionate about discovering new waters to fish in, and I’m always curious about what lies beneath the surface. The thrill of catching any fish that inhabit these waters fascinates me. When I approach a new pond, there are three key questions I want to answer. First, I ask myself: Is there any fish living here? If the answer is yes, I move on to the second question: Are there multiple species of fish present? If that’s also confirmed, I proceed to my final question: Is there a large fish in this pond? To answer these questions, I need to navigate to the water and wet my line. I had my eye on this particular pond for quite some time, and it took a great deal of courage to finally venture there. From Google satellite images, it looked promising; however, upon arrival, reality proved quite different. The pond was surrounded by dense woods and thick underbrush, with no walking path leading to it—it was completely deserted. I measured the shortest distance using Google Maps, but even so, I had to push through thick vegetation. We’re talking about vines with thorns, plants with hooks, and swarms of insects. Every step forward was a challenge. I can’t imagine attempting this trek without wearing thick protective clothing! When I finally reached the pond, I was utterly disappointed. The water was stagnant, the aquatic plants appeared dead, and the surface was littered with broken debris. Hesitant at first, my curiosity ultimately got the better of me. I cast my line out and, after a few minutes, felt my first bite! Reeling it in revealed a tiny sunfish. I continued fishing for 45 minutes in hopes of answering my second and third questions. However, all I managed to catch were a handful of these little sunfish—each less than four inches long. After enduring numerous insect bites, I decided it was time to call it quits. I wouldn’t recommend fishing at this pond; when I emerged from the woods, my jeans and jacket were torn up, and my neck had swollen like a golf ball. I've resolved never to return to this spot and certainly wouldn’t suggest it to anyone else.
