Flashback Friday of my best pike catch … Lake Kesagami, 2013. I took my teenage son on a Canadian excursion to Ontario … beautiful fishing camp where you have to fly-in on a pontoon boat to get to this remote spot. I caught this off the dock of the lodge - our fishing vacation hadn’t really started and I was waiting for the dock hands to pull around the boat and decided to take a single cast. Wham! 44” pike smoked my swim bait and the fight was on!! Catch22 and heaven on Earth!!!
