Recent Catches At Crean lake

Caught a pike from a canoe in Hanging Hearts lake (not the one you can’t fish in), and it escaped as I was removing the hook. Pictured is my father-in-law’s catch that was nearly identical in size. It was gut-hooked so we kept it for dinner.

Caught this silver pike a couple years back. Not the biggest pike under my belt but by far the coolest. Where I caught this fella was in the national park in Saskatchewan Canada and when I talked to the park ranger about it he said thAt he'd been working there for 20 plus years and never seen or heard of a silver pike being caught there. Who else caught one?
