Himley Hall Golf Centre Pond

I caught this monster a few years ago on a fibre glass fishing pole. I just got into pole fishing and had an advanta 11 meter pole which was heavy as most are carbon fibre.i caught a little roach and while I was bringing it in to un hook it this beast come from no where and smashed into the roach and in the madness I somehow hooked it on the outside of it’s mouth allowing me to battle it I was scared as I never caught one before and this was huge I landed it after 45 minutes sorry bout the picture as the camera wasn’t that good. A battle I’ll never ever forget 😀👍
