spent the day float fishing playing a game of dodge a pike when bringing in the roach. 3 times i lost. the first bit me off, second i managed to pull the roach back out it's mouth (it survived), the third managed to eat the roach and get hooked on the bottom lip and landed it on 3lb mainline and 2lb hook length.
